Description
Richard received his PhD in sociology from Harvard in the early 1980’s, and founded The Harvard Gay & Lesbian Review in 1994 and has remained its editor and publisher ever since. The bimonthly journal, now The Gay & Lesbian Review / Worldwide, offers the best writing and thinking on LGBT culture, and covers a wide range of topics. Formerly, he taught sociology and anthropology for the University of Maryland’s European Division and was Director of Research for a Boston-based consulting firm, The Center for Strategy Research.
