Description

Champion boxer and coach. Founded the Toronto Newsgirls Boxing Club in 1996, a gym specifically women and transgender athletes. Won the Steinert & Ferreiro Award (2013, which recognizes leadership in the queer community), the Senator Nancy Ruth Award (2010, for a demonstrated commitment to women), and the Coaching Excellence Award from the Coaches Association of Ontario (2011).
