Description

Musical theatre and broadway show composer. Notable works included 'Cabaret' (Tony Award), 'Chicago', 'Kiss of the Spider Woman' (Tony Award), and 'Steel Pier'. Created the words to the hit song 'New York, New York'. Member, American Theatre Hall of Fame (1991). The Fred Ebb Foundation for musical theatre songwriting was created in his honour.
