Description
Ethnographic writer and photographer. Notable for his work on the early studies of the Albanian country. Author of the book 'Albanisches Bauerleben im oberen Rekatal bei Dibra (Makedonien)' (1914, translated as Albanian Peasant Life in the Upper Reka Valley near Dibra (Macedonia)). Considered a founder of Albanian studies. Secretary and lover of Hungarian baron and scholar Franz Nopcsa for over thirty years. Also known as Bajazid Doda.
