Portrait and scenic photographer, notable for her genre of environmental portraiture (though her most prominent work is of nude men and women). Published two black and white books of her collections, 'Women En Large: Images of Fat Nudes' (1994), 'Familiar Men: A Book of Nudes' (2004), 'Women of Japan' (2006) done in collaboration with Japanese feminists, and the work in progress 'Pandemic Shadows' (2021). Identifies as Queer.
