Description

Artist and garden designer, whose most famous creation is Le Clos du Peyronnet at Menton, France one of the most admired gardens of the French Riviera. Other gardens include Abbots Ripton Hall, Greys Court, and Hill Pasture, both in Great Britain. The subject of many books, including 'Eden's Keepers: The Lives and Gardens of Humphrey Waterfield and Nancy Tennant' (2021). Also known as Derick Humphrey Waterfield.
