Founder, media group and research centre Media Matters for America and American Bridge. Author of several political books, including 'The Real Anita Hill: The Untold Story' (1993) and 'The Republican Noise Machine: Right-Wing Media and How It Corrupts Democracy' (2004). Broke the "Troopergate" story, which later led Paula Jones to file a lawsuit against President Bill Clinton.
