President and founder, the Kennedy Center's DeVos Institute of Arts Management at the University of Maryland since 2013. Co-chairman of IMG Artists, the performing arts management agency. Former President, Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts (2001-2013). Formerly involved in management of Kansas City Ballet, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, American Ballet Theatre and the Royal Opera House. Blogger for Huffington Post.
