Associate Professor of Science Communication at the University of Otago in New Zealand. Psychological science writer, and former Professor of Psychology at the University of Arkansa. Notable books include 'The Belief Instinct' (2011) and 'Perv: The Sexual Deviant in All of Us' (2013). 'Scientist of the Year Award' from the National Organization of Gay and Lesbian Scientists and Technical Professionals (NOGLSTP, 2010).
