Description
Former acting director of the Washington, D.C. Office of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Affairs (2004-2005). LGBTQ activist with the National Organization for Women, the Democratic Party, and the Human Rights Campaign. The Wanda Alston House (a home for at-risk LGBTQ youth) and Foundation was created in her memory.
