Puppeteer and Executive Director with Jim Henson Productions and the Sesame Workshop (1984-2012), working with television show Sesame Street and presenting the characters Elmo and others. Author of the autobiography 'My Life as a Furry Red Monster' (2006). Recipient of numerous Emmy Awards for his work (1990, 2005-2007 and 2009-2013). Made headlines when he was the subject of several lawsuits alleging sexual harassment, all of which were dismissed.
