Reader in Social Work & Health Inequalities, De Montfort University. Co-convenor of the Social Work and Health Inequalities Network, an international network of over 300 social work academics and practitioners from 25 countries. Has published widely in the fields of human rights and lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans health and social care inequalities in disciplines including social work, sociology, psychology, equality and diversity, medicine and nursing. Addresses issues of LGBTQ cancer inequities.
