Playwright and theatre director. Artistic Director of Victory Gardens Theater, Chicago since 2011. Work often contains LGBTQ themes. Former director of the Mark Taper Forum's Asian Theatre Workshop. Member, Executive Board of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society. Serves on the National Advisory Board at the Playwrights Center and the Artistic Advisory Board of Partial Comfort Theatre.
