President & Vice Chancellor, Royal Roads University, British Columbia since 2007. Former Vice President, Research and International (2002-2006), and Acting President (2006-2007) of University of Regina, Saskatchewan. President (Canada) of Inter-American Organization for Higher Education. Named an outstanding academic by the Inter-American Organization of Higher Education in 1998 and is a four-time winner of the Alberta Energy Research Award. Member, LGBTQ Presidents in Higher Education.
