Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Came out as gay after the death of his wife (and 48 years of marriage to her), met a man and was married again at age 90 (2016). Former President of Bryn Mawr College (1970-1978). Pennsylvania Secretary of Labor and Industry from 1987 to 1991. Chief executive officer of the Corporation for National and Community Service, the federal agency that runs AmeriCorps and other domestic volunteer programs (1995-2001).
