Dancer and choreographer in the classical Bharatanatyam style and winner of the prestigious Sangeet Natak Akademi award. Acted in the movies 'Earth; by Deepa Mehta and ;Khamosh Pani' by Sabiha Sumar. Foundedthe Abhyas Trust: a non profit organization dedicated to yoga, dance, urban design and the care of stray animals. Also known as Navtej Johar.
