Tory Party mayor for West Midlands, elected in 2017, being the first directly elected LGBTQ metropolitan mayor in the United Kingdom. Former manager in retail trade with John Lewis, and chair of the Greater Birmingham and Solihull Local Enterprise Partnership (GBSLEP).
