Author of science fiction books and designer of online games. Books include 'Death's Heretic' (2011) and 'The Redemption Engine' (2014). Co-created the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game and is Creative Director for the Starfinder Roleplaying Game. Has written numerous short stories for such publications as Escape Pod, PodCastle, Starship Sofa, Apex Magazine, Black Gate, and Machine of Death. Former Managing Editor, Paizo Publishing. Bisexual.
