Professor of English and Women's Studies at Pennsylvania State University since 1993. Poet, critic and feminist. Collections include 'All-American Girl' (1996, Lambda Literary Award), 'The Black Bear Inside Me' (2018), and 'Tiger Heron' (2014) and 'Domain of Perfect Affection' (2006). Contributing editor to Ploughshares and poetry editor for the Women’s Review of Books, where she writes a column called 'Field Notes'. Also known as Robin Gwynne Becker.
