Description

Classical pianist, Assistant Professor of piano at the University of British Columbia since 2003. Formerly a member of the faculties of Manhattan School of Music and New York University. Aawarded the first ever Beethoven Fellowship of the American Pianists Association (1981). Prizewinner for piano at the 1983 Queen Elizabeth Music Competition. Awarded the Gold Medal at the 1984 Gina Bachauer International Piano Competition, and won a Bronze Medal in the 1986 Tchaikovsky International Piano Competition. Transgender, formerly David.
