Description
Art critic and teacher at EHSS in Paris. Research centered on genders and sexualities, engaged in examining the relationships between feminism, queer theory, art history, and contemporary art. Former staff member of the newspaper Liberation (1991-2006). Former editor-in-chef of the magazine Beaux Arts (1987-1990). Co-curated the exhibition “Beau comme un Camion” (European Lesbian and Gay Pride, Paris, 1997). Author of 'What AIDS Has Done to Me. Art and Activism at the End of the 20th century' (2017). LGBTQ activist.
