Author and journalist. Books include 'The inverted society, or, the gays of San Francisco' (1979), and 'Corps à corps: Journal de sida' (1987). Correspondent for the newspaper Gai Pied in New York, and contributor to the French magazine Le Berdache. Introduced the term 'AIDS sufferers' into the French language. Died of AIDS.
