Description

Theatre and film actor. Notable films include 'Lifeboat' (1944) and 'Devil and the Deep' (1932). Appeared on stage in productions of 'The Dancers', 'They Knew What I Wanted', 'The Little Foxes' (1939), 'The Skin of Our Teeth', 'Private Lives', and many more. Author of her best-selling autobiography 'Tallulah: My Autobiography' (1952). Noted for her promiscuous sex life with both men and women. Inducted into the American Theater Hall of Fame in 1972.
