Description
Democratic-Farmer-Labour Party member of the Minnesota State House of Representatives since 1981, being the first open LGBTQ member in the state. Led the effort for LGBTQ rights in the state including the legalization of marriage rights in 2013, after failing in an attempt in 2011.
