Playwright and academic, notable for the plays 'Broken Eggs', 'Havana is Waiting', and 'The Cook'. Artistic Director of the INTAR Theatre in New York City since 2004. Arts Professor, New York University and formerly with Columbia University (1997-2007). Co-author of the book 'Tastes Like Cuba: An Exile's Hunger For Home' (2007). Recipient of numerous awards.
