Description
Ballet dancer and choreographer. Founder, Sadler's Wells Theatre Ballet, and participant with the Royal Ballet. Artistic Director, National Ballet of Canada (1976-1983). Commander, Order of the British Empire (2008). The Royal Academy of Dance awarded him the Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II Coronation Award, its highest honour in recognition of outstanding service to dance.
