Description
Transgender activist, and first member of her country’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI) community to speak to the country's Parliament, speaking out against discrimination at a session of its committee on human rights (2019). The speech sparked a backlash in Armenia, where homosexuality has been decriminalised but discrimination against LGBTI people is rife. Founder of Right Side, the transgender activist organization (2016). First Armenian able to obtain a passport under a new name (2015). Film producer, the founding director of "Combinat Production" LLC, as well as the director of "Sharm Holding" LLC.
