Description
LGBTQ activist who successfully fought to repeal the colonial anti-buggery laws (Sections 13 and 16 of the Sexual Offenses Act) of Trinidad & Tobago in 2018 only to see them reinstated in 2025 by the courts. Pursued the appeal further to the Privy Council in the United Kingdom, the first time in history that the Privy Council will hear an LGBTQ+ decriminalisation case.
