Born James Pritzker, is a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the US Army and, as a member of the Pritzker family (owners of the Hyatt hotel chain amongst other investments), is a noted billionaire philanthropist that has transitioned to a female. Noted for founding the Pritzker Military Library. Donated $1.35 million to the Palm Center, an LGBT-focused research organization based at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
