Kathryn Dawn Lang, popularly known as K. D. Lang. Country singer-songwriter who lead the way for recognition of lesbian rights. Winner of four Grammy Awards - 1989, 1990, 1993, 2004. Notable songs include 'Constant Craving' and 'Miss Chatelaine'. Lesbian cult leader. Canada's female artist of the decade in the 1990s. Member, Canadian Music Hall of Fame (2013). Animal rights and LGBTQ activist.
