Radio broadcaster with BBC Radio Wales, with his own talk and phone-in show since 2002. Founder of the Chris Needs Hospital Appeal. Appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (2005). Author of two autobiographies: 'Like It Is: My Autobiography' (2007) and 'And There's More ... My Autobiography – part 2' (2009). Also known as Christopher Needs.
