Description

Assistant Professor, Department of Drama, Queen's University since 2003. First nations poet and playwright from the Six Nations of the Grand River. Served on the boards of the Association for Native Development in the Performing and Visual Arts, Native Earth Performing Arts and the Playwrights Union of Canada. Plays include 'Coyote City' (1988 and a 1991 Governor General's Literary Award nominee), 'The Indian Medicine Shows', the 1996 James Buller Memorial Award winner and, his classic work, 'Almighty Voice and His Wife' (1991). Poetry collections are in book format 'Delicate Bodies', 'The White Line', 'Sixteen Jesuses' and a CD, 'River Range, Poems'.
