Description

Portrait painter notable for painting his contemporary African-American subjects in a classical style and pose, often heroic in nature. His subjects are often unknown individuals (known as street-casting) who choose an historic painting and mimic the presentation style. Work is in many public galleries around the world. Chosen to paint the official portrait of former President Barrack Obama.
