Description
Co-founder (with Patrisse Cullors) of Black Lives Matter, an organization which acts against discrimination and violence, police brutality, and racism. Contributor to numerous magazines and newspapers. Executive Director of the National Domestic Workers Alliance, an organization which fights for the rights of domestic workers. Recipient of honours given by the Harvey Milk Democratic Club with the Bayard Rustin Community Activist Award for her work fighting racism and gentrification in San Francisco.
