Novelist and author of the book 'The Miseducation of Cameron Post' (2012). The book was subsequently made into a movie in 2018. Nonfiction has been featured on NPR's 'All Things Considered' and in The Huffington Post. Teaches creative writing and literature courses at Rhode Island College in Providence. Member of the editorial/publishing staff of 'The Cupboard', a quarterly prose chapbook. Also known as Emily Danforth.
