Head of the School of Engineering Education at Purdue University. Former Associate Professor of Engineering at Smith College, and Virginia Tech. Author of the book 'Engineering and Social Justice' (2008). LGBTQ activist. Awarded NOGLSTP’s GLBT Educator of the Year (2010) for her work in engineering, promoting liberative pedagogies, and combating discrimination and prejudice in the workplace.
