Film producer known for his documentaries about gender, sexuality and the LGBTQ community. Films include Boys for Beauty (1999), Not Simply a Wedding Banquet (1997), and Scars on Memory (2005). Author of his memoir 'Taipei Father, New York Mother' (2011). LGBTQ activist. Also known as Lao Niang and as Jade Sister.
