Description
Documentary filmmaker with his partner Dean Hamer through their production company QWaves. Productions include 'Out in The Silence' (2009), an Emmy Award-winning documentary about how their wedding announcement in Wilson’s hometown newspaper opened up a larger story about the challenges facing LGBT people in small towns and rural communities. Other productions include 'Kumu Hina' (2014) and 'A Place in the Middle' (2014). Formerly worked as Director of the Human Rights and Global Security Program at Public Welfare Foundation in Washington, D.C. and producer of Pacifica National Radio's public affairs program Democracy Now.
