Description

Democrat 66 Party member of the House of Representatives since 2017, and party leader since 2024. Former Deputy Prime Minister of the Netherlands (2024) and Minister for Climate and Energy Policy (2022-2024). Member of the municipal council of Nijmegen (2010-2017). Formerly with the Dutch railway authority ProRail. Awarded Spain's Grand Cross of the Order of Civil Merit (2024).
