Noted for his comedic and romantic films with co-star Doris Day, such as 'Pillow Talk', but also his dramatic roles in the movies 'Giant' and 'Magnificent Obsession'. His homosexuality was a hidden secret until late in life, and was briefly married. Lifelong friend of George Nader.
