Description

Screenwriter and film director. Partner of Nobel Prize-winning author Andre Gide. Of his fifty motion pictures, he is particularly noted for the film 'Fanny'. He is noted for developing many French stars of the time, including Jeanne Moreau and Brigitte Bardot.
