Description

John Greyson is a filmmaker whose work frequently deals with gay themes. His notable films include 'Lillies', 'Zero Patience' and 'Fig Trees'. Greyson is also a video artist, writer and activist. He is currently a Professor at York University in Toronto, where he teaches film and video theory and film production and editing. Made international headlines when imprisoned in Egypt without charge when he travelled through the country on his way to Israel during the riots in August 2013. Bonham Centre Award Winner (2008).
