Description

Retired professional football player. Played running back with the San Francisco 49ers (1964-67), Detroit Lions (1968), Washington Redskins (1969-70), New Orleans Saints (1971), and the Washington Redskins (1972). Author of his biography, 'The David Kopay Story' (1977) which became a best-seller. Had a relationship with fellow football player Jerry Smith. Also known as David Kopay.
