Contributor to television channel MSNBC and writer, and member of the editorial board, for the newspaper Washington Post. Formerly with the editorial board of the newspaper New York Daily News. Contributor to a New York Daily News editorial team that won a Pulitzer Prize in 1999 for Best Editorial Writing for a series of editorials regarding Harlem's Apollo Theater.
