Innovative and modern dancer for her time. Opened a number of schools around the world to teach her style of free-flowing, natural dance. In dance, the Isadora Duncan Awards and the Isadore Duncan Foundation are named in her honour. Had a relationship with playwright Mercedes de Acosta and feminist Lina Poletti.
