Co-organizer of the national organization LGBT+Physicists (www.lgbtphyscists.org) to improve the climate for sexual and gender minorities. Recipient of the 2014 National Organization of Gay and lesbian Scientists and Technical Professionals (NOGLSTP) GLBT Educator Award.
