Description
Professional soccer player who plays for Seattle Reign FC in the National Women's Soccer League. Previously played for the Chicago Red Stars, Philadelphia Independence, and magicJack in Women's Professional Soccer (WPS) as well as Olympique Lyonnais in France's Division 1 Féminine. Gold medal Olympic winner, 2012 Olympic Summer Games. LGBTQ activist with the Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network (GLSEN) and Athlete Ally. Member, National Gay and Lesbian Sports Hall of Fame (2015). Partner is former soccer player Sarah Walsh.
