Description
Pentagon Chief of Staff in 2015, followed by Under Secretary of the Army and Chief Management Officer, and nominated to be the next Secretary of the Army. Former Undersecretary of the Air Force, being the Defense Department's highest-ranking openly gay official, (2013-2015). Has worked in various defence related political positions throughout his career. Former member of the Gay & Lesbian Victory Fund from 2004 to 2007.
