Description
Public school assistant head teacher who resigned his teaching post after parents protested when he revealed his homosexuality. Author of the book 'Challenging Homophobia in Primary Schools'. Resumed his teaching career, and Assistant Headteacher, at another, Muslim school outside of Birmingham. Published a handbook about creating an ethos where everyone is welcome, regardless of differences: 'No Outsiders in Our School: Teaching the Equality Act in Primary Schools'.
