Description

Professor Cosmology and head of the School of Mathematical and Physical Sciences at the University of Sussex since 2013. Former Professor of Theoretical Astrophysics, Cardiff University (2007-2013). Research is in the area of cosmology and the large-scale structure of the Universe. Former Professor of Astrophysics in the School of Physics & Astronomy at the University of Nottingham (1998-2007). Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society and of the Institute of Physics. Notable for his blog Telescoper.
